Reiki (pronounced ray-key), simply translated from Japanese, means spiritual energy.

It is a holistic, light-touch, energy-based healing modality, introduced by Mikao Usui in Japan during the late 1800's to early 1900's.

Reiki energy is universal life force energy that comes from an all-encompassing creative source that everything is made from and it is an extremely powerful healing energy.

Reiki re-establishes a normal flow of life-force energy (Ki/Chi/Prana) within the body to heal all levels – physical, emotional, mental and spiritual.

Once you are attuned to Reiki through initiations, you are permanently linked to Reiki universal energy without the need of conscious alteration of your mind (E.g. through meditation, prayer or imaging/visualization).

Simply by placing your hands (fingers together) on yourself or on another person, allows the energy to flow from the universal source through your body and out through your hands into your client or self.

Reiki is one of the few forms of healing modalities that can be used by you to heal you.

The main purpose of Reiki Level 1 is to learn about self-healing, which involves taking responsibility for your own health and well-being.

After completing Reiki Level 1, you may also heal others, as well as animals freely or by donation for non-professional purposes.

Tartu Reiki School in Tartu, Estonia, is happy to introduce our first Reiki Level 1 training course in the English language, hoping to attract both English-language citizens of Estonia and Estonian-language people, who plan to move to foreign countries and may need the specific vocabulary and expressive language necessary to continue their Reiki studies or take part in Reiki shares in foreign countries.

The course will take place at the weekend of 20 and 21 May. On the first day, the students will be introduced and attuned to Reiki. They will learn the basics of Reiki philosophy, and the basic techniques of meditation and self-healing with Reiki.

On the second day, the group will study the ways of using Reiki in everyday life – room cleanse, programming crystals, removing undesired energies and stimulating desired energies. We will speak about Oriental human energy systems (channels, diamonds, chakras, bodies), meditate, visualize, breathe and give Reiki to sitting and lying course mates. Finally, everyone, who has participated on both days, will receive a certificate.

The training course costs €86 (until 7 May we offer an early bird price of €76). The price includes teaching, instructions, English-language materials, hot tea and English-language certificate. Lunch costs €7 on both days, you may also bring your own packed lunch.

On 4 May from 18.15 to 19.45 we have a free event, where we introduce Reiki and the training course. You may also experience and sense Reiki energy during a mini session, if you wish.

The training will take place at Saekoja 36a-310 in Tartu, Estonia, in a room specially adapted for energy training, as few details as possible, with minimum furniture and plenty of room to sit or lie on the floor.

The presentation will take place at the same place. After registration you will receive exact instructions, how to get there by car, bus or bike or walk there.

If you want to come, please fill in the form here or write to Reet at reet@hingamisstuudio.ee or call her: +372 5649 2769.

Hopefully we will meet at the presentation or at the training course.

Bless you!
